Zoom 是一款世界知名的雲端視訊會議軟體，被廣泛應用於在家工作、遠距教學、線上會議、雲端視訊會議、網路研討會、即時群組訊息 (可傳送文字，圖片、音訊及其他檔案)、聊天等等。這款免費軟體除了 Windows 系統使用的會議用戶端程式之外，還提供 Google Chrome 和 Mozilla Firefox 瀏覽器的擴充功能以及 Android 和 iOS (iPhone/iPad) 應用程式，這兩款 App 全名都叫做 ZOOM Cloud Meetings (Zoom 雲端會議)。

Beginning in early 2020, Zoom’s software usage saw a significant global increase following the introduction of quarantine measures adopted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its software products have faced public and media scrutiny related to security and privacy issues. A large part of its workforce is based in China, which has given rise to surveillance and censorship concerns.

The program makes video conferencing easy. Once you have installed it, you can create an account and start a chat by sharing the code or join an existing meeting with the code provided to you.
