Angry IP Scanner (或簡稱 ipscan) 是一款非常快速的 IP 位址與連接埠掃描工具，開放原始碼且跨平台，支援 Windows、macOS 和 Linux 系統。這款免費軟體可以掃描任何範圍內的 IP 位址及其任何連接埠。它只是對對每個 IP 位址執行 ping 操作以檢查各該位址是否處於活動狀態，然後選擇性地解析其主機名稱、確定 MAC 位址、掃描連接埠等等。收集的有關每個主機的資料量可以透過外掛進行擴充。

Angry IP Scanner 原文簡介：

The software is a very fast IP address and port scanner.

It can scan IP addresses in any range as well as any their ports. It is cross-platform and lightweight. Not requiring any installations, it can be freely copied and used anywhere.

The program simply pings each IP address to check if it’s alive, then optionally it is resolving its hostname, determines the MAC address, scans ports, etc. The amount of gathered data about each host can be extended with plugins.

It also has additional features, like NetBIOS information (computer name, workgroup name, and currently logged in Windows user), favorite IP address ranges, web server detection, customizable openers, etc.

Scanning results can be saved to CSV, TXT, XML or IP-Port list files. With help of plugins, the application can gather any information about scanned IPs. Anybody who can write Java code is able to write plugins and extend functionality of the application.

In order to increase scanning speed, it uses multithreaded approach: a separate scanning thread is created for each scanned IP address.
